Please be informed that, during processing, our company proceeds pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Regulation 95/46/EC (27 April 2016) (hereinafter: the “General Data Protection Regulation), Act CXII of 2011 on the Right of Informational Self-determination and Freedom of Information (hereinafter: “Information Act”) and Act LXXXVIII of 2014 on insurance activities (hereinafter “Insurance Act”).

Transparent and lawful data processing is extremely important for the Allianz Group (Allianz SE and its affiliates), the principles and rules of which are contained in the Allianz Privacy Standard (APS). A public version of the document is available here. The APS also includes the Allianz Binding Corporate Rules (BCR), which have been approved by the Bavarian Data Protection Authority (BayLDA), which oversees the Allianz Group.

1) Data processing relating to cookies

2) Data processing related to the online premium calculation service available on the website

If you wish to make a premium calculation for any of our insurance products on the Website, you must provide the personal information required to do so. This may vary from product to product. In this case, our company will process the personal data specified by us and provided by you for the purpose of providing a non-contractual premium calculation for your insurance product, based on your consent. The personal data provided are necessary for us to perform a premium calculation for information about our particular insurance product and to display the calculated premium to you.

The data will be processed until the withdrawal of the consent, or for a maximum of five years.

3) Data processing related to the use of Allianz Quick Tariff Setting and Allianz Casco Quick Tariff Setting services

Through our Allianz Quick Tariff Setting/Allianz Casco Quick Tariff Setting service (hereinafter: Quick Tariff Setting), you can calculate the premium for your compulsory motor third party liability insurance or casco insurance by entering three details (licence plate, bonus-malus classification, date of birth). 

Within the scope of our Quick Tariff Setting service, in addition to the data provided, we need your consent in order to query the data of the Ministry of the Interior for the records required for the conclusion of the contract. If you consent to this, our company will ask for information about your personal data (name, address, birth name) and the technical data of the vehicle you specified from the traffic register kept by the Deputy State Secretariat of the Ministry of the Interior responsible for keeping records.

We process the data thus obtained in order to prepare the premium calculation for as long as a claim can be made in connection with the failure to conclude the contract, and if the contract is concluded, we can process them for the conclusion and maintenance of the contract and during the period of the insurance relationship while after the termination of the insurance relationship data may be processed and as long as a claim can be enforced in respect of the insurance relationship, or at least for eight years from the termination of the contract.

4) The “Allianz Loyalty Programme” and related personalised data processing for advertising purposes

i) If you wish to benefit from the "Allianz Loyalty Programme", you can join it by registering on our website and providing your personal details. After successful registration, if you log in to your account created in accordance with the registration and make your purchase through it before taking out the given insurance online, you will receive certain discounts on your purchases. In the case of insurance contracts or online premium calculation initiated from your account, you do not need to re-enter the data requested by the website for online premium calculation or purchase; they will be filled in for you based on your account information, so you can perform an online premium calculation or conclude an insurance contract without re-entering the data.

We process your personal data provided during registration with your consent for the purpose of creating and maintaining an account on your website in your name, and for recording your insurance contracts and discounts through your account, and, in the case of online premium calculation and contracting, for using your account information to pre-fill the information required for a premium calculation or concluding a contract, for your convenience.

From the data on Google or Facebook or on the premium calculation pages, the insurer saves and processes the following data in connection with the calculation or, in the case of a separately given consent with such content, for direct acquisition purposes:

·         Facebook/Google: e-mail, facebook_id, google_id, last name, first name, gender, date of birth, settlement, place of birth, workplace, qualifications

·         Customer data: personal data of the contractor, contact details of the policyholder

·         Data related to taking out insurance: start of cover, premium proposal data, riders and their premiums, discounts/rebates, contract through an agent, marketing statement

·         Data requests included in the calculation of MTPL / Casco products, including: reason for concluding a contract, MTPL + Casco cooperation, KEKKH statement, surcharges, vehicle data, MTPL and casco history contract data, operator data, owner data, premium payer data, green card application, priority accessories, inspection of parallel contracts

·         Data requests included in the calculation of home insurance products, including, but not limited to subject of insurance, furniture and fittings, basic real estate data, address of the insured property, insured data, antecedent contract, data related to property mortgages

·         Data requests included in the calculation of a travel insurance product, including, but not limited to purpose of travel, travel details, number and details of insured persons

·         Other data: data related to the use of the application, including activities related to the use of the application, data related to the tariffing process, including activities related to the premium calculation process, evaluation.

We will process the personal data provided by you during registration as long as you maintain that registration. If no contract has been concluded with your registration, your personal data related to the registration will be deleted at the same time as your registration is terminated. If a contract has been concluded with your registration, we will process your personal data for this purpose for six years from the performance of the contract. The data concerning the contract may be processed during the period of the insurance relationship and after the termination of the insurance relationship for as long as a claim can be enforced in connection with the insurance relationship, or for at least eight years from the termination of the contract.

ii) If you consent, our company will also process the personal data provided by you when joining the Allianz Loyalty Programme and the contract-related data related to the registration in order to display personalised advertising and offers about our products on our website. We will process such data until you withdraw your consent or otherwise object to the processing.

iii) If you consent, we will also treat your personal information provided as specified above for marketing purposes by transmitting it to Facebook so that you can see our targeted and personalised ads in your Facebook account.

5) Data processing related to the use of the Allianz Customer Portal

You can register in the Allianz Customer Portal (Customer Portal) as a natural person in relation to motor (MTPL, Casco), home (Allianz Home Insurance, Allianz Online Home Insurance, Allianz Home Insurance Plus) or life insurance (Allianz Classic and / or Allianz Life Programmes; YieldMax) contracts with the policy number and by confirming your phone number and email address.

In the case of an Allianz Housing Association Insurance Plus contract, if the e-mail address and mobile phone number were provided by the Housing Association representative/joint representative during or after the conclusion of the contract, the partner authorised to represent the housing association is entitled to register by providing their customer card number.

If you have agricultural insurance, you can register by entering your MVH (Agricultural and Rural Development Agency) ID.

Our company processes the e-mail address and telephone number in connection with the registration, as well as the data related to the contract, in order to fulfil the contract.

You can request the cancellation of your registration by making a statement on the Customer Portal. If you cancel the registration, the data directly related to the registration will be deleted and the data related to the contract will be deleted according to the data processing rules applicable to the contract.

6) Data processing related to online premium payment available on the website

You can pay the insurance premium with your bank card via our website, on the payment interface operated by OTP Mobil Szolgáltató Kft. We need the number of the insurance contract, the type of customer (individual / institution) and the date of birth/tax number so that we can identify you or the contract and give you the amount of the premium to be paid. The payment process takes place over an encrypted channel using two-key SSL encryption. We do not have access to the card information you provide during payment.

7) Data processing related to online contract administration available on the website

In order to manage, maintain and modify your insurance contract on the website, you can modify it, make changes in the related data, terminate the contract, file a complaint and make a report related to data processing.

In this case, the data necessary for processing the above requests or provided by you at your own discretion (including the attached documents, any photographs) for the purpose of processing your application, submission, request, performance and maintenance of the contract will be processed according to the contract data processing rules, which you can find here.

8) Data processing related to the online claim report available on the website

You can report your claims related to the insurance contract online on our website electronically, and you can also submit additional information, documents, deeds and photographs for previously reported claims this way. We will treat the data you provided in the notification in accordance with the data processing information on claims settlement, which can be found here.

9) Applying for jobs

On our Careers page, you can apply for an employee (including trainee) or sales position responding to our Recruitment Call, or may request the inclusion of your personal data in our personnel database.

IV) Telephone administration

If you contact our company with a request, remark or complaint by phone, or enter into an insurance contract or make an insurance proposal, request or receive a premium proposal from the insurer by phone then we will record the call, which will be processed in accordance with the information contained herein.

V) Data processing related to benefit claims and claims for damages

In order to settle or assess a claim, the insurer processes the personal data provided by the data subject in connection with the settlement of claims or otherwise obtained by the insurer in connection with the settlement of claims.

The data subject is entitled to provide personal and special category personal data related to the health status of the data subject in order to assess the claim, determine the legal ground and amount, and may be obliged to do by contract or law.

VI) Processing of data of other data subjects

If you are not a policyholder, insured, beneficiary or other eligible party under a different title of an insurance contract, and you are not injured, and you submit a request, remark, complaint or make another submission to our company by post or electronically, by email or telephone, we will process your personal data provided by you or otherwise disclosed to us in connection with your request as set out in this notice..

Rights of the data subject, data protection notifications

It is important to us that personal data are processed properly and we do everything we can to ensure that personal data are processed lawfully and as securely as possible. It is therefore advisable to contact us directly with any problems you may have before you seek other remedies, as soon as possible.

We inform you that you may exercise your data processing rights, including the right to withdraw your consent, after identification through the contact details indicated below. At our Central Customer Service at the headquarters of our company (1087 Budapest, Könyves Kálmán krt. 48-52.) in person.

General Provisions

If the data processing is based on your consent, you have the right to withdraw it at any time. Withdrawal of consent shall not affect the lawfulness of the data processing prior to the withdrawal. However, we would like to draw your attention to the fact that, in the event of withdrawal of the consent given in connection with the data necessary for the maintenance or performance of the contract, the insurer may refuse to provide the service.

Pursuant to Articles 15-22 of the General Data Protection Regulation, you may request access to, rectification, erasure or restriction of the processing of your personal data by us and you may object to the processing of such personal data and exercise your right to data portability.

Our company will inform you of the measures taken on the basis of your submission no later than one month from the receipt of the request. If necessary, taking into account the complexity and the number of requests, this deadline may be extended by a further two months, of which we will also provide information. If you have submitted your request electronically, we will provide the information electronically, unless you request otherwise.

If no action is not justified by the submission, we will also inform you within one month at the latest, also indicating the authority where you can lodge a complaint and how to exercise your right to judicial remedy.

Our company applies measures in connection with the exercise of the right of data subjects free of charge.

If your request is clearly unfounded or, in particular due to its repetitive nature, excessive, our company may charge a reasonable fee or refuse to act on the request, taking the administrative costs of providing the requested information or details or taking the requested action into account.

If our company has reasonable doubts as to the identity of the natural person submitting the application, it may request the necessary additional information to identify the data subject.

Rights of the data subject

Access right

You have the right to receive feedback, upon request, on whether your personal data are being processed. Upon request, our company will provide you with a copy of the personal data processed by us and at the same time inform you of the information specified in Article 15 of the General Data Protection Regulation (for example: purpose of data processing, categories of data processed, categories of recipients, duration of data processing).

Right to rectification

At your request, we will correct your inaccurate personal data processed by us without delay.

Right to erasure and to be forgotten

Pursuant to Article 17 of the General Data Protection Regulation, our company will erase your data at your request, or without any special request, without delay, in the cases specified therein. If you request the erasure of your personal data disclosed by us, the insurer will take all reasonably expected steps to inform the data controllers processing the data of the data subject’s request to erase their data.

Right to restriction of processing

If you so request, our company will have limited processing of your personal data, subject to the provisions set out in Article 18 of the General Data Protection Regulation. If the processing is restricted at your request, such personal data will be processed, with the exception of storage, only with your consent, or for the purpose of making, enforcing or protecting legal claims, or for protecting the rights of other natural or legal persons, or in the public interest.

Right to data portability

In accordance with Article 20 of the General Data Protection Regulation, with regard to automated data processing based on contract or consent, at the request of the data subject, our company will provide you with personal data on the data subject previously provided to the insurer by them in a structured, widely used machine-readable format, or at your request, if technically feasible, will transfer such data directly to another data controller.

Right to object

If your personal data are processed by our company on the basis of a legitimate interest, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data at any time in the case defined in Article 21 of the General Data Protection Regulation for reasons related to your situation. In this case, personal data may not be further processed, only in exceptional cases specified by law.
 

Rights to be exercised in connection with automated decision-making

In relation to automatic decision-making (including profiling), the data subject has the rights listed below:

- is entitled to request human intervention through the telephone customer service of the insurer at the telephone number +36 (1/20/30/70) 421-1-421, or in person, at the customer contact points or at the insurance intermediary.

- express their views or make an objection using the above contact details.

Legal remedy options

You have the right to lodge a complaint with the National Data Protection and Freedom of Information Authority (1125 Budapest, Szilágyi Erzsébet fasor 22 / c.; www.naih.hu) or with the data protection supervisory authority of the Member State in which you have your habitual residence, place of work or of the suspected infringement, if you believe that the processing of your personal data violates the General Data Protection Regulation. If the supervisory authority does not deal with the complaint or does not inform you within three months of the progress of the procedure or the outcome of the complaint, you have the right to go to court. Proceedings against the supervisory authority shall be brought before a court of the Member State in which the supervisory authority has its seat.

You also have the right to seek legal remedy in connection with the activities of our company. In this case, you can decide whether to bring an action in the courts of the EU Member State where the insurer operates or of the EU Member State where you have your habitual residence. In Hungary, you can bring a lawsuit before the court of your place of permanent or temporary residence.

Data processors

In the course of data processing for various purposes, our company uses service providers who participate in data management as data processors, who process your personal data for the purposes detailed below.

We only use data processors who provide adequate guarantees to implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to ensure that the data processing complies with the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation and that you are protected.

Data processors may process your data on the basis of a written contract concluded with us, only in accordance with our instructions and only in connection with the purposes set out below.

1) In concluding, maintaining and fulfilling insurance contracts, our company also acts with the assistance of insurance intermediaries (tied agents, their intermediary subcontractors). If the insurance intermediaries act on behalf of the insurer, your personal data will be processed by them as data processors in accordance with our provisions. Information is available on the names and addresses of the insurance intermediaries entitled to act, employed by the insurer in the register of tied insurance intermediaries at the Magyar Nemzeti Bank (https://apps.mnb.hu/regiszter/) and at the Central Customer Service Office of our company (1087 Budapest, Könyves Kálmán krt.48 -52.).

2) Our company uses other contributors in certain insurance services, if the provision of the service requires the special expertise of the contributor, or when by involving one we can provide the service at the same quality, but at lower costs and at a better price (outsourcing). Contributors performing outsourced activities act on the basis of an outsourcing contract complying with the Insurance Act, and process personal data as a data processor in accordance with the instructions of our company.

Such contributors include:

i) EPDB Nyomtatási Központ Zrt. (Company registration number: 01 10 048079, 1117 Budapest, Budafoki út 107-109.), which we employ for printing policies, letters and documents for other customers.

ii) Magyar Posta Zrt. (Company registration number: 01-10-042463, Budapest 1138 Dunavirág u. 2-6.), which we employ for handling incoming postal items and documents and forwarding these documents to the insurer.

(iii) Allianz Technology SE (company registration number: HRB173388, Fritz-Schaffer strasse 9. 81737 Munich, Germany), its branches (including in particular the Hungarian branch of Allianz Technology [registered office: Company registration number: 01-17-001018, Budapest 1087 Könyves Kálmán krt. 48-52.]), whose subsidiaries provide IT services.

iv) INFO-SZEKTOR Kft. (company registration number: 13-09-130837, 2015 Szigetmonostor, Martinovics u. 32.), which provides telephone administration and sales services on behalf of the insurer.

v) Euler Hermes Magyar Követeléskezelő Kft. Group SAS Magyarországi Branch Office (registered office: 1139 Budapest, Váci út 99.), which provides debt management services on behalf of the insurer.

vi) Payment service providers used by the insurer for the financial performance of the insurance service. Such is, for example, our electronic payment service provider, OTP Mobil Szolgáltató Kft. (1093 Budapest, Közraktár utca 30-32.), used to operate bank card payments via the website.

vii) Additional contributors used by our company during the conclusion, maintenance and performance of the contract (e.g.: claims experts, other persons acting on behalf of the insurer during claims settlement, data loggers, additional persons involved in contact, IT, legal and accounting service providers).

3) The employees of our company are entitled to learn about the personal data of the data subject to the extent necessary for the performance of their duties, in connection with the following activities:

a) registration and management of contracts,

b) claims settlement,

c) handling complaints, questions and requests,

d) sales activity,

e) risk-assumption activity,

f) product management,

g) marketing and advertising activities,

h) performing planning, controlling, auditing, quality assurance, actuarial, accounting, legal and IT operational tasks.

The data processors contracted by us are entitled to process your personal data no later than the date of the transfer or destruction of the processed data after the termination of the data processing contract, or within the period for which we are entitled to process the data.

Data security measures

The insurer shall take all reasonable steps to prevent unauthorised access to or use of personal data and the devices used to process personal data. The insurer ensures the protection of the personal data processed by it in accordance with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation.

In the case of both paper-based and electronic data storage, the insurer shall provide adequate physical and logical protection for the data processed by it. Access to personal data is limited and controllable by appropriate technical solutions. The security of the data processing by the insurer is regulated by internal regulations. According to the regulations, the insurer classifies the data processed by it into security classes. The classification system used by the insurer groups the data and specifies the individual protection measures required for each data security class.

Automated decision-making and profiling

Our company may decide on the acceptance of the insurance proposal and the conclusion of the contract during an automated risk assessment. We may also decide in an automated procedure to change the insurance premium or the amounts of property, liability and personal insurance (indexation) on the basis of the terms of the contract, of which we will notify the policyholder.

Our company evaluates the data included in the proposal and the contract on the basis of risk and other business aspects, and the decision made accordingly may have an impact on the acceptance or rejection of the proposal and the premium for insurance cover.

Profiling is any form of automated processing of personal data in which personal data are assessed for the purpose of assessing, analysing and projecting certain personal characteristics of a natural person, in particular work performance, economic status, health, personal preferences, interests, reliability, behaviour, location or movement, used to analyse or predict characteristics.

Encryption of electronic mails and documents

In accordance with the obligation contained in the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), in order to ensure even more complete protection of our customers' data, we are introducing new encryption methods for outgoing mail items, about which we provide information on an ongoing basis.

If you need more information than that in our letter, we will share the encryption methods we use below.

Certain characters of the data suitable for the identification of the contract (e.g., contract number) will be hidden with an asterisk in the text of the cover letters or SMS (the full contract number will be included in the attachments attached to the letters (e.g. policy)).

The pdf documents attached to the cover letter are password protected. You can read about the steps required to open them in the cover letter.

For some long-standing contracts, data containing encryption may be incomplete in our systems. If you received an email without encryption, please call our Contact Centre at +36 (1) 421-1-421 so we can update your data.

In addition to the above, we maintain the encryption method we have used for life insurance mails for many years.
