Allianz Business Travel Insurance Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Allianz Business Travel Insurance is a travel insurance for a limited number of days that can be taken out by legal entities and private entrepreneurs.

The days under the limit must be purchased in advance and can be used for each trip.  At least 100 days must be purchased from the limit in advance to take out Allianz Business Travel Insurance. The number of days under the limit decreases with the number of days spent abroad. Days spent abroad must be reported to the insurer by email prior to travel. 

Allianz Business Travel Insurance can be taken out by legal entities (such as a company, public institution or sports organisation) and private entrepreneurs for at least 100 days under a limit.

We recommend it to all those who travel from Hungary abroad for intellectual or physical work or professional sports for a period of 1 to 90 days.

  • Simple and convenient solution: the insurance can be taken out for two years, during which the insured can travel abroad at will, up to the days under the limit. All you have to do before the trip is send the necessary information by e-mail (name, date of birth, first and last day of the trip, travel within/outside Europe).
  • Customisable: You can choose from three insurance packages (Health, Travel, and Legal Protection Package). Within the packages, three levels are available (Standard, Optimum, Premium).
  • Favourable insurance premium: the insurance is available from HUF 270 per day for those traveling within Europe for the purpose of intellectual work.
  • Worldwide: the insurance covers any country in the world (except for areas not recommended for travel by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade).  The number of days under the limit is reduced by the number of days spent abroad when traveling in Europe and by twice as much as the number of days spent abroad when traveling outside Europe.
  • Simple and fast contracting: the insurance can be easily taken out by filling in the proposal form. All you have to do is choose the right one from the insurance packages and hand the signed form to our consultant. The invoice will be sent by post and can be settled by bank transfer.
